A quirky unusual form in red with an ivory edge that increases in width on a hot day. The chartreuse throat sets the whole thing off. The petals pinch and the sepals curl especially on a hot day.  Good for the front of the border.  Fun.

A SUPERB cultivar in white with a nice ruffled edge set off by a  green throat.  It twists and curls which is intensified on a warm day.  Once the clump establishes the branching and budcount is phenomenal with 5 way branching and way too many buds to count!  If you are dabbing pollen this makes a super parent.  Very choice indeed and limited.

A showstopper in bright orange with a red eye.  This one can get taller than the registered height depending on the weather.  It has 3 strong branches displaying the buds beautifully.  A very strong splash of intense colour in any border.  Knock out and extremely limited at the moment.

Helix gets it’s name from the way the sepals curl like an old fashioned watch spring.  The flower colour is Bordeaux wine and the huge throat is green – it has a 15” wingspan.  It flowers early-mid season and then sends up a few scapes again later in the season in UK.

A small one for the front of the border in a purple blend, cream purple halo and gold edge above green throat.  Puts on a great show.

Ketchup red with a paprika halo above wide green throat. Huge imposing blooms that looks wonderful in a clump.  Very Limited.

An older but stunning variety rarely seen for sale.  Orange polychrome blooms are edged gold with a chartreuse throat.  A clump puts on an amazing show and is an excellent choice for a bright splash at the front of a border.

A striking unusual form in straw yellow with a huge maroon/plum eyezone.  It has 3 strong well placed branches allowing up to 30 buds to flower to perfection.  Later in the season it always reliably sends up another set of scapes for a late show.  Once established it makes a big strong clump that just stops you in your tracks!  Imposing, incredible and very limited.

Now for something very different.  A yellow flower with extreme greenish ruffled edge.  In my photos you will see a flower on a normal English overcast day and then one taken on a very sunny day.  The sunnier it is the better it looks and the edge often looks very green.  It is a specimen or front of the border cultivar as it is fairly short but displays good branching and high bud count.  See also the unusual buds just waiting to burst forth.

Light purple red self with large green throat.  Puts on a great late performance with plenty of buds and branches.  Goes with everything in the mixed border.
