FIRST KNIGHT

Salter – 1995

Bloom 6” (15cm) x height 28” (71cm)

Early-Mid/Semi-Evergreen/Tetraploid + reliably reblooms in England

Stunning large pale yellow cream flowers with ruffles and gold edge and green throat.  The flower is full and round with petals almost completely covering the sepals.  Well branched scapes carry multiple blooms – then it reliably reblooms later in the year putting on another great display.  Performs very well in England.

FLUTTERING BEAUTY

Joiner, Jan – 2000

Bloom 9” (23cm) x height 40” (102cm)

Mid-season/Semi-Evergreen/Diploid

*Unusual Form Double*

A very unusual and exotic double with a full centre of petaloids.  The bloom colour is ivory with a pinky-flesh tinge and green throat.  This flower has many, many looks and is one of my favourites – I would never be without it.  I have never seen a single flower on it.  Not quite as tall as registered in my garden with 3-way branching and good budcount.  It flowers slowly for a very long time.
