This one does not flower as tall as registered in my garden.  Red with darker red eye, yellow midrib and yellow edge with a huge yellow throat.  It has a nice ruffled edge with lots of curling and movement to the flower.  Good branching and loads of buds.  A nice season extender.

A stunning bright orange self that never lets me down – it looks consistently beautiful no matter what the weather with good branching and perfect bud placement putting on a fantastic show. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a bit taller here in my garden – it really loves England!  In my top 10 oranges for 8 years in a row.  A must have orange.

CRADLE OF BETHLEHEM

Shooter, E – 2007

Bloom 5.5” (14cm) x height 26” (66cm)

Mid-season/Dormant/Diploid

An incredibly stunning cultivar that flowers Mid-Late for me here in UK.  It took a while to settle in England after I brought it back from USA – but now it seems happy!  The flowers look much bigger than the registered size maybe because of the huge yellow throat.  Some describe this flower as yellow with a purple edge – I always see it as purple with a massive yellow eye!  Whichever way it is unique and stunning.  Very limited.
