Dark wine red with extended green throat and white midribs.  The sepals twist and turn gracefully on each bloom.  Elegant unusual form that has lots of personality.  The blooms are similar to the Zuni Pueblo Thunderbird symbol with its twisting wings and purple colour.  The hotter the weather the more this one twists and curls and can even take on a snakeskin look which is very unusual.  You can’t go wrong with this one – it loves the UK!
